Washington extends blacklist of Russian individuals, entities
WASHINGTON, Dec 21 (PRIME) -- The U.S. has extended the blacklist of Russians over the situation in Ukraine, adding seven individuals, eight organizations and two tankers, the Treasury Department said in a statement late Tuesday.
Four of the sanctioned companies are connected with road construction in Crimea and another four companies that allegedly provided financial, technological or material aid to transportation company Sovfracht-Sovmortrans Group, which was put on the blacklist earlier.
The sanctions against state expertise company Glavgosekspertiza were eased with some of the deals permitted.
Six of the seven sanctioned people were top-executives of Bank Rossiya, ABR-Management and Sobinbank, parts of Bank Rossiya. The new blacklist also includes restauranteur Yevgeny Prigozhin.
The sectorial sanctions against Russia were scaled up as well, with the scope now covering affiliates of Russian Agricultural Bank and 12 units of independent gas producer Novatek.
